The Fallen Angel by Daniel Silva

I recently finished The Fallen Angel by Daniel Silva. It was about an art director who fell to her death but the case is believed to be a homicide. The Vatican, this happened at one of their museums, calls up on an art restorer who is also an assassin for the Israeli government to lead the investigation. He finds out that she was murdered by someone who finances Hezbollah. They then find out about a terror plot on a prominent Jewish synagogue in a country that didn't do anything to provoke this attack. The art restorer eventually stops the terror plot and saves well over a hundred peoples lives. This is a very good book for people who enjoy suspenseful stories that will keep you reading.

Moscow Rules by Daniel Silva

I recently finished Moscow Rules by Daniel Silva it is about an art restorer who works for Israel ms dealer and she contacts the CIA which leads tho the CIA talking to this art restorer who takes on the role of getting the wife away from the husband. He succeeds in doing this and also saves a journalist and a general who wants to leave Russia. This is a very interesting book and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys action books.

The Rembrandt Affair by Daniel Silva

I recently finished The Rembrandt Affair by Daniel Silva it is about an art restorer who is also an assassin who woks for the Israeli government. He finds out that a painting that was stolen during the holocaust that has a list of names of Jewish people who's belongings were taken hidden inside of it and is trying to find it. he ends up making a mission to strip the wealth of one of Europe's wealthiest men and successes. the reason he was successful is because the wealthy man's fortune was based off of stolen property during the holocaust which they took back and the wealthy man was now poor.

The Defector by Daniel Silva

I just finished The Defector by Daniel Silva  and I really enjoyed reading it. The Defector is about a art restorer and assassin who has just saved a Russian illegal gun merchant's wife from the Russian illegal gun merchant. He is now back to finish the job and kill the illegal gun merchant. This plan backfires when the assassin, his wife and 2 of his friends are captured and held captive by the illegal gun merchant. They are almost killed but are saved at the last second by the Russian government. They then extract revenge on the illegal gun merchant and his men. They end up killing them all and making their country a safer place. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys action and mystery as it is full of both. This is one of my most favorite books.

Multicultural Memior

I read I Am Malala. It is about a girl named Malala who went to school and was shot. In the memoir Malala talks about her background and how she became the person she is today. She also talks about how education was such a big part of her life and how the Taliban completely altered her way of  life. I found an artical about women's education in Pakistan. This shows how the Taliban is keeping women in Pakistan from getting a decent education. This connects to the book because the book is about women not being allowed to get an education.

Just finished Blood of Olympus

I just finished reading The Blood of Olympus and it was really good. It was the last book in the Heroes of Olympus series. This is a continuation of the Percy Jackson series. I really enjoy books like this because I find mythology really interesting. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who likes mythology.

In this book the seven people that are part of the quest to save humanity have to stop the most powerful being to ever live (the Earth) and they eventually do but one of their friends die so they end the book being really sad not happy they saved civilization again. Throughout the book they look for a way to bring people back from the dead and they find it so when their friend dies he is not really dead but they do not find that out during the book.

I just started reading a book it is called Against All Odds. It is set in India where the US is trying to figure out more about terrorist organizations. I have not been told the full name of the main character just Moore. It is interesting so far because they have only done one thing and it didn't end well.
They were going to find an American who had been help captive but they were attacked by their own people. This made them scared and the prisoner was dead by the time they got there. They then had to swim three miles to save their friend. I stopped reading after that so I don't know what happens next.

I recently started reading Bloodline by James Rollins. I think that it is a really good book. It is about how the guild, the organization that the main characters try to stop, came to be. There is also a lot of science in the book which makes it even more interesting. I haven't finished the book but I would recommend it to anyone.

If you have ever read any of James Rollins books you would know how he includes science and history into his books, this one is no different. The story is also about how the triple helix of DNA works and how the people that are trying to make it will think it will affect people. they think it will make people immortal but before they can figure out how it truly works they are stopped by the main characters.

I just read Dead or Alive by Tom Clancy. It was about a soldier who killed sleeping Taliban soldiers and was being investigated for murder by the president. He was looking for the #1 most wanted man in the world. While that was happening another team was looking for the Emir (#1 most wanted man in the world) and they found him. While that was happening an old president ran and won the election so the soldier was released and ended up killing the Emir. So in the end everything turned out like it was supposed to.

The theme in The Blind Side is that there are a lot of people who need help and not nearly enough people trying to help them out. It is created through the Touhey family adopting Michael Oher and realizing there are a lot of kids who need their help. It is redefined at the end when Mrs. Touhey wants to open a shelter for poor kids without parents that can take care of them. She says, " If we open a shelter for kids like Michael then maybe we can help solve the endless cycle of poverty." This shows that through adopting Michael they learned that they were given great things but now they must start to learn to give back.

My article is about how the book is inspiring and how the book takes a kid from the streets and puts him in the NFL. It is also about the main idea of the book and a brief summary.
